Lame :(!
Ahh ive just did the worst thing possible for myself, i never really look at when i was changing territories, so now iam stuck in America. The reason i changed Territories was for these reasons.
First Change: I started my char in America, so i changed to Europe.
Second-Forth: Kept going back and foward helping guildies.
As for now iam stuck in the American one, which i get horrible lag for, game is impossible to play, i always get lagged from monsters when i start to run away. When i play in Europe, i ping fine, never any lag, and everything is fine. Iam also playing from Australia.
So ive been trying to get in contact with aNet to see if they can change me to europe, becuase if i cant this seems to be the end of my 3 months of guild wars .

unlucky, i am not sure how sympathetic ANET will be tbh. The rules are in place for a reason. Seems harsh, but if u get horrible lag on American servers, dont ever go there.

It's made pretty clear that the number of changes is limited. Ignorance is no excuse.

You had international Districts to help Guildies.

tbh, i never ever saw the thing saying you have this many changes left.. i just clicked on the territorie and clicked change. Why is there a limit anyway?
Hopefully if i explain to them, what type of problem iam in they might change me, hopefully. PeeWee the reason i ONLY went there was to help out guildies in some parts, i cant stand it anyway. If they cant change me over, i will need to rebuy guild wars, then rebuild all my characters.. which is lame.

Didn't they make it so your last switch would take you back to your home district?
The change is limited so that you can't just jump when one side has the favor, or when another side is getting some special event earlier.

There is a limit in place to prevent people from abusing the Favor system, imho. Someone in Europe sees America has Favor, so swings over there to farm UW or something. Then, when Europe has favor, they swing back thus making favor pointless. Limits prevent abuse.

yeh i thought it would be for the favor system.
Sagius, i started in america becuase i thought thats where all the Aussies would be, then my mate told me that they all played in europe so i switched. The lag is that bad for me that i can run through a portal and 6 seconds later it will finally take it to the next place.

personally i cannot see how you can blame anyone but yourself for your current situation. Every time you go to the option page to change territories there is a msg displayed indicating how many changes you have left. Anet also has international districts for the exact reason you were chaging.
How can you justify calling your situation "Lame" without insulting yourself? Are you saying that Anet should be accountable for YOUR actions? Should they have not given you the choice in the first place?

Well, I think he understands now, and there's no need to 'flame' him.
I wouldn't like to be in that situation, would you? Some people just click through without reading the stuff around them. Think about it, how many games and programs have you setup where you just skipped through the Terms of Use and other seemingly important information?

I'm quite convinced that if you explain your situation clearly they will allow you one last change...

I don't see why. You obviously have no idea how many excuses people come up with, after the've crossed the line.
They might not even bother to read the whole apology or excuse email.

I am 99.99 % sure that this lagg isn't because you are logged on american servers, I know I read somwhere that A.net search the closest server for you and you connect to that server.
So when you live in europe (like I do) you will connect to the closest server (wich is in europe to), maybe you just had a lagg spike or something like that because I don't got a problem with lagg (exept the usual lag spikes).

Well considering i live in Australia and its a bit of a distance to Europe/America, you can kind of see why it may lag. But ive never lagged at all in Europe, but i lag so bad in America, seems like iam playing using Dialup at 33.2kbps.

Just fill out the Support thing and someone will get back with you and I`m reasonably sure they`ll reset your account to Euro servers. Some of you need to take a step back from the Jolt Colas and lighten up a little.
